I had an unfortunate incident with a tape deck today and lost the video I was planning on showing at the degree show. Not very good. But I’ve decided to go back to my latex video and re-edit.
I’m aiming for longer waits between shots to give a feeling of time passing. There’s not much else I need to do to this film.
Further collaborative work with Cami Carter.
Using the white space to experiment with various different compositions has allowed us to see that the newer tights work best, and all pieces used in the final work should match these - same brand of foam and tights.
The legs which lie on the floor will be remade to better match the other 2 pairs. And the pair in the corner will be hung from invisible thread, to give the impression that it is standing without support.
Previous pieces (using different tights and foam) have been left behind as development works in favour of these newer, more successful pieces.
This is the first piece of video work I made, at the end of my 2nd year. I’m actually still fairly happy with it.

I am making a drawing of a male figure.
This week has been another struggle to get anything done. Maybe it is natural for me to work in bursts. I’m trying not to worry about this too much, and have made a schedule to work from until degree show.
Just now I am enjoying making some new drawings. I hope to show a sketch pad as part of degree show.
